VERO BEACH, Fla. – Sebastian River High School Baseball will be playing a number of home games at Historic Dodgertown the week of March 3rd as field repairs would not allow for play. VERO BEACH, Fla. – Beginning Monday, March 3rd, Historic Dodgertown will host a two-month stretch of High School and College Spring Training games presented by Musco Lighting, the official lighting partner of Historic Dodgertown. Over 130 teams from all over the United States will utilize the spring break schedule of their academic year to kick-off their baseball and softball seasons.

VERO BEACH, Fla. – Historic Dodgertown has been playing host to three international baseball clubs at once beginning Monday February 24th. The Italian national team will be training in preparation for upcoming European tournaments while a club team from Montreal, Canada and another from France bring youth teams of multiple age groups to sunny Vero Beach.
Already having hosted the SK Wyverns, a South Korean professional team, throughout January and Espoir, Arvida, a club team from Canada, Historic Dodgertown has been an international baseball hub in 2014.

Historic Dodgertown is Hosting a Spectrum of Groups Following a Successful Presidents’ Day Tournament
VERO BEACH, Fla. – Historic Dodgertown will be abuzz with action following a successful Treasure Coast Presidents’ Day Tournament weekend that saw 59 teams from eleven states.
The first to arrive, despite a weather delay in the frigid northeast, is the Red Water Lacrosse Club from New York. They will be on campus through February 22nd training on the multi-purpose field and under the lights on Field 2 throughout the week.

VERO BEACH, Fla. – Historic Dodgertown will host its fourth annual Treasure Coast Presidents’ Day Challenge youth baseball tournament this weekend. The February 15-17 tournament will include 59 teams, separated into 12U, 13U, 14U, 16U and 18U age divisions.

VERO BEACH, Fla.—Hideo Nomo, a founding partner of Historic Dodgertown, Vero Beach, Florida was elected to the Japan Baseball Hall of Fame today, becoming the youngest player ever to be honored at age 45 and 4 months. Nearly 19 years ago, pitcher Nomo signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers to become the first player to make the move from Japan’s professional baseball league to Major League Baseball in 30 years. VERO BEACH, Fla.—Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach will be the site of Softball Factory’s Spring Training this weekend, January 17-20. This will be their first training camp held at Historic Dodgertown in 2014, following three appearances in 2013.
The event hosts 28 girls ages 13-18 from 11 states, including California, Florida, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
All practices are open to the public and will be held at Historic Dodgertown’s state-of-the-art cloverleaf, located adjacent to Holman Stadium.

VERO BEACH, Fla.—Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach is once again the site of Minor League Baseball’s The Umpire School, an all-inclusive professional baseball umpire school. This marks the third consecutive year this event has returned to Vero Beach. The course began Sunday, January 5, and will conclude Sunday, February 2.
Professional Baseball Umpire Corp (PBUC) supervisors will instruct the attendees of the four-week course. PBUC oversees the training and employment of umpire in the Minor League Baseball system throughout the United States and Canada.
