VERO BEACH, Fla. – Historic Dodgertown will be invaded by the Orlando Scorpions this weekend for their annual summer season kickoff. Over 300 players, coaches and staff will be arriving Friday evening and Saturday morning for this early season training camp. The two-day event consists of team fundamental work and a skills competition. Eleven of the Scorpions teams representing different regions of the state will then be returning the following week to compete in the Vero Beach Classic at Historic Dodgertown.

VERO BEACH, Fla. – Twenty-Nine teams representing four age divisions will begin play this Holiday weekend at Historic Dodgertown for the Memorial Day Invitational. Coming from areas such as Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville, the tournament will kick off with a pair of games Friday night followed by full days of bracket play Saturday and Sunday. Semi-final and Championship games will take place Monday morning and afternoon to round out the three-day weekend.

VERO BEACH, Fla. –After a series of postponements around the state to due inclement weather and unplayable conditions, the FHSAA State Finals brackets are now set for the upcoming State Tournament at Historic Dodgertown. A number of teams were finally able to complete Regional Finals games Monday evening to determine who would advance.

Treasure Coast Sports Commission Finalizes Preparation for Hosting FHSAA Softball State Finals at Historic Dodgertown
VERO BEACH, Fla. –The top high school softball teams in the state will converge in Vero Beach next week to compete for the top prize of claiming a state championship. Regional tournament finals continue Friday, May 2, around the state to determine which schools will advance to the Finals at the Historic Dodgertown softball complex. The four-day event will divide the eight classes of teams in half, with schools competing in semi-final rounds, followed by Championships the next day.

The Midget AAA Development Network, now in its 28th year of enhancing the game of baseball in Canada, is one of the elite developmental programs in the country. VERO BEACH, Fla. – The Lady Greyhounds of Lincoln Park Academy will host an eight team tournament on the cloverleaf softball fields at Historic Dodgertown on April 11th and 12th. Teams include Eau Gallie, Okeechobee, Sebastian River, Miami Carrollton, Treasure Coast, Merritt Island, Palm Bay and Coral Springs Charter.

Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes to Host Mini Camp and Open Tryout at Historic Dodgertown
VERO BEACH, Fla. – Professional football returns to the grounds of Historic Dodgertown this weekend with the arrival of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. The Alouettes have been one of the premier organizations in the CFL having won back-to-back Grey Cups in 2009-2010, while making the playoffs in both 2011 and 2012. Following an atypical season in 2013 at 8-10, the squad looks to use Historic Dodgertown as a launching pad to a successful 2014 campaign beginning June 14th against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
