    VERO BEACH, Fla.—Peter O’Malley announced today that Vero Beach Sports Village, longtime site of the world-famous Spring Training home of the Dodgers, will now be known as “Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach, Florida”. O’Malley has signed a licensing agreement enabling his partnership to utilize the new name in cooperation with the Dodgers and Major League Baseball.     University of South Florida Football Camp Returns to VBSV for the Fourth Consecutive Year

    Vero Beach Sports Village to Accommodate Paul Anderson’s Cycling Challenge Participants

    VERO BEACH, Fla.—Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) is proud to provide overnight accommodations for those participating in Paul Anderson’s Cycling Challenge on Friday, August 2.   From August 1 to 7, eight teenagers along with staff and volunteers from the Paul Anderson Youth Home (PAYH) will participate in a 600-mile bike ride through Southeast Georgia and Florida. Finishing the cycling challenge is just one of their goals for the summer.     Baseball Factory Returns to Vero Beach Sports Village

    VERO BEACH, Fla.—Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) will host Baseball Factory’s Pro Select Training this week.     Game Ready Baseball Tournament This Week at Vero Beach Sports Village

    VERO BEACH, Fla.—Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) is the host of Game Ready Scout Day’s World Championship baseball tournament. Teams arrived Sunday, July 21, and will take place in a college showcase event and tournament play beginning Monday, July 22. The tournament will conclude with championship games on Friday, July 26.   The Treasure Coast Sports Commission sponsored event includes 17 teams in the 16U and 18U age divisions.     MLB’s R.B.I. Southeast World Series Qualifier Returns to VBSV for Third Consecutive Year

    VERO BEACH, Fla.—Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) will once again play host to the RBI Baseball and Softball Southeast Regional Tournament this weekend, July 18-21. This event, sponsored by Treasure Coast Sports Commission, is the southeastern World Series Qualifier for Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program.   The tournament is divided into three divisions: softball (ages 19 and younger), junior baseball (ages 13-15) and senior baseball (ages 16-18).     Peter O’Malley International Invitational Baseball Tournament to be played in Dublin, Ireland

    VERO BEACH, Fla.—The first Peter O’Malley International Invitational Baseball Tournament will be played this week at Corkagh Demesne Park in Clondalkin, West Dublin, Ireland from July 12-14.
