VERO BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 19, 2016) — Five former professional, championship soccer players from Uruguay are offering a free soccer camp to area youth this week at Historic Dodgertown. The coaches played for international teams during their professional careers, including some on the Uruguayan National Team.

Up to 15 players expected to be drafted from the SFWL, held at Historic Dodgertown
VERO BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 16, 2016) — More than 65 players from across the United States and the Dominican Republic traveled to Historic Dodgertown - Vero Beach to participate in the South Florida Winter League with the hope of being drafted to play in the Independent League. Scouts and personnel from various teams, including Major League Baseball, have been watching the players practice and play each day.

Dodger Corey Seager named Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year, following 16 prior winners who trained and played at Historic Dodg
VERO BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 15, 2016) – Before yesterday’s announcement, all 16 prior Dodger National League Rookies of the Year played at Historic Dodgertown – Vero Beach during Spring Training since its opening in 1948.
Dodger shortstop Corey Seager yesterday became the 17th player in franchise history to be named the NL Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year. In 1987 Major League Baseball chose to honor Robinson by naming the award in his honor.

Vero Beach, FL (Sept. 23, 3016) -- “Vin Scully Appreciation Night” is Friday night (Sept. 23) at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, with a pregame tribute by the Dodger organization to recognize the Hall of Famer’s remarkable career and accomplishments during his 67 seasons in the broadcast booth. Scully plans to retire on October 2, the end of the regular season.
